Making Yogurt

Directions

Sterilize a 1 qt container and a spoon.

Heat 1 qt milk to 170-180F degrees then remove from heat and let cool.

Heat two jars of water to ~140F and put in "yogurt maker".

Let milk cool to ~115-120.

Take out 1c of warm milk and put into container. Add 1/4 c. already made yogurt and stir.

Add the rest of the warm milk to the milk yogurt mixture.

Put proto-yogurt into "maker" and let incubate for 6-12 hours. I usually like 8.
